ROXXIE had a 2” Mopar lift and 35” Nitto tires that took us all over the place quite happily. While we were in Moab at EJS I started to recognize that my Jeep scraped and struggled a bit on many of the trials I enjoyed. We started talking about upgrading again, which as you probably know, is the Jeep way of life! 😂 I am so blessed with be working with Teraflex! They are such an amazing company!
I added their RT4 Alpine 4.5” long arm suspension kit to ROXXIE. This is a complete bolt on kit (you do need to cut off the brackets that hold the short arm suspension on your Jeep, which is a pretty permanent commitment!) with new track bars and sway bar disconnects, and all kinds of great geometry correcting brackets too! This is a 27 hour installation 😳, so it was not something we wanted to tackle ourselves. Max and his team at HMC did a great job installing it! I also added their Falcon 3.5 aDAPT e-Adjust Piggyback shocks. These can be set from your phone to be on soft or firm seting, or as Iike to do, set it to the auto setting and the app will adjust as you drive. It’s amazing!! And we finished our Teraflex build with their heavy duty drag link and forged tie rod as well at the Falcon Nexus 2.2 steering stabilizer. They all work together beautifully to provide a smooth and very capable ride on and off road.
In addition to my new suspension I also upgraded my front axle to a Dynatrac ProRock44 with ARB air locker, Dynatrac prosteer ball joints, and RCV performance axle shafts. Their 3.125″ diameter x 0.5″ thick wall DOM housing tube is so strong I love the added confidence to explore they give me!
For Roxxie’s final new addition, we added a set of 37″ Mickey Thompson Baja Boss AT tires. They are on Raceline Avenger beadlock wheels (with custom painted rings). They look great and handle beautifully!
